Our approach
Assessment that respects the whole person
NeuroKind recognizes neurological differences as part of human diversity. Evaluations consider the complete picture—not simply a diagnosis, score, or checklist. We use interviews, records, observations, questionnaires, direct assessment, and professional judgment to understand each person’s strengths, needs, experiences, environment, and support needs. Comfort items, sensory supports, communication devices, movement breaks, and time to become comfortable are welcomed when clinically appropriate.
What to expect
A clear and supportive process
1. Consultation and intake — We discuss your questions and determine which evaluation may be appropriate.2. Records and questionnaires — Relevant history helps clarify what is already known and what questions remain.3. Individualized assessment — Interviews, observations, structured activities, rating scales, and selected standardized measures may be used.4. Feedback and recommendations — Findings are explained and practical next steps are discussed.5. Written results — When included, you receive a report or summary designed to support understanding and advocacy.
